Located in the Perth Hills, the client's property is perched on a gradual slope which looked over a winter creek surrounded by natural bushland. Taking advantage of these views was the main criteria for this design while still maintaining a livable home for the family. The feature of the home is the central courtyard which floods the house with natural light throughout the day. Extensive glazing and bush fire requirements proved a little challenging to achieve compliance.
